BARRISTER QASIM WADUD

Mr. Wadud, a co-founder of Legal Oracles based in Islamabad, brings extensive legal expertise to the Indus Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center (IMDRC). He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Government College Lahore and an LLB (Hons) from the University of London. As a Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn and an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Mr. Wadud has a distinguished career marked by significant international experience in Dubai, Riyadh, and Kabul. Mr. Wadud has served as Additional Advocate General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Additional Attorney General of Pakistan, representing provincial and federal governments before the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Islamabad High Court. With over 1,000 decided cases, he has handled a wide range of complex legal matters. His expertise extends to corporate and regulatory legal matters, with a focus on project finance, corporate finance, banking, energy and power, privatization, mergers and acquisitions, telecommunications, competition laws, tax laws, and litigation. 

Notably, he was a key member of a federal committee negotiating with Independent Power Projects (IPPs), achieving significant financial relief for Pakistan. Sadia Shahzadi is a distinguished Advocate and Accredited Mediator with substantial experience in various areas of law, including corporate, labor, industrial, civil, criminal, banking, family, business, and special laws. She has practiced in both the Lower and High Courts of Lahore and Islamabad, demonstrating her versatility and expertise in handling complex legal matters. Currently, Saadia is an accredited mediator with CiArb. She adeptly manages cases related to criminal offenses, family conflicts, commercial disputes, and tax matters.
